48,5 m2 / 2 rooms plus kitchen / house 1933 / home for two adults / in Töölö Helsinki

The apartment was completely renovated in this project. MINIMO took care of the complete renovation and controlled the worksite. The house is a mixture of Nordic classicism and functionalism and the apartment was also wanted to be a mixture of these architectural styles. In the kitchen the upper fixed furnishings, made of oak and painted with white, represent classicism and the steel furnishings the functionalistic style. The former kitchen was a narrow, long tube and opening it was one of the main aims. Another main point in the interior design was to achieve a sophisticated and international urban style which would be a good background for 30´s and 60´s furniture.
